Noelle Scaggs may be best known for her role in the high energy pop indie band Fitz and the Tantrums. But she is so much more.
Noelle is a native of Denver, Colorado. Music has always been a constant in her life. Noelle’s father was a DJ and musician in the Denver area. Scaggs early musical influences include, but are not limited to, Teena Marie, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye.
Before high school Scaggs family would make the transition to living in LA. (Pasadena to be specific). It was here that Noelle would see music as a part of her future. Immediately after graduating high school Scaggs would start her song writing career. After bouncing from producer to producer, Scaggs would land the role of front-woman for the LA funk band, The Rebirth.
After a 10 year run, Scaggs would end her run with The Rebirth.
Scaggs would go onto to work with industry staples such as, The Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Mayer Hawthorne, Nas, Miley Cyrus & Damian Marley.
During a 2 year hiatus from music. An old friend would reach to Scaggs regarding a role in a local pop rock band. This was her introduction to Fitz & The Tantrums.
